Agere

Agere Systems, formerly a part of Lucent Technologies, asked Cortex to develop and design a browser based CD-ROM that could deliver training curriculum and marketing collateral for a key product launch. This piece was to function as an interactive overview for Agere's PayloadPlus Express network processors. To add to our design challenge, this CD-ROM was developed simultaneously with Agere's own identity development. Flash-based animations assisted this piece by demonstrating the process flow of the network processors to the user. In the end, this product helped Agere to easily deliver crucial information to a wider audience.

This was my first project at Cortex Interactive. This project was co-designed by Lisa Jordan and myself. After reviewing and critiquing our initial comps, we blended our design efforts for a successful overall look and feel. I took hold of the information architecture and GUI design duties. At the same time, Lisa polished the marketing and help sections. I was also involved in the coding of the original HTML shell.
