Biology wireframe

This product is a browser-based interactive companion to Solomon’s Biology textbook, produced for Thompson Learning. The program is geared toward college biology students and includes features such as interactive tutorials and simulations, each featuring a mix of Flash animations and quizzes. This product was designed to coordinate with the printed textbook.

Wireframe development was an essential part of the information architecture of this project. We were dealing with massive amounts of content and organizational issues. We focused on a template-based concept that would launch the activities and simulations as separate pieces. Our solution, students would page through a review of information, then move onto each of the activities once they felt prepared.
